While it's still called the V2, you're looking at what's technically the third iteration of the Microtubes B7K Ultra from Darkglass Electronics. Next to the all the features and functions of the original V2, this preamp and bass stompbox comes with the welcome addition of an AUX input so you can play back MP3s from your phone or tablet. In addition, this Finnish-built effects pedal is equipped with impulse response technology, meaning you can also load in the IRs of your favourite cab and speaker combination, while the included micro-USB port can be linked to a computer to gain access to Darkglass Suite; an IR-based software-environment. As a matter of fact, none other than Adam 'Nolly' Getgood (Getgood Drums, ex-Periphery) has dropped his personal IRs into Darkglass Suite to give you a great starting point.
